WATER CALMING®

Water Calming® is a therapeutic process designed to support individuals working through stress-related issues and recovery. Research suggests that Water Calming® has extensive health benefits and the ability to induce personal transformation. Those working through grief, anxiety, and trauma are highly recommended to experience this healing progression. It is ideally designed for a minimum of 8 sessions.

There are three distinct stages through Water Calming®:

Sensations  ->  Perceptions  ->  Emotions

Sensations - The initial stage of sensations focuses on activity related to sensory input through place attachment and fractal dimension. Individuals pay close attention to their surroundings and the information taken in from the environment.

Perceptions - The perceptions stage of the process contains the majority of the therapeutic activities. These exercises shift activation in the brain between the default mode network, related to creativity, and the central executive network, related to focus. The activation of the salience network, which monitors this alteration between the two, allows for the experience to become remedial throughout the nervous system. There are four cyclical phases within this stage of perceptions:

The perceptions stage allows for clarity through introspection, attention restoration, impermanence, and ecocentrism. Various thoughts and belief systems within these realms may be explored in order to initiate the final stage of Water Calming®.

Emotions - The emotions stage creates an opportunity for participants to discover the essence of healing. It evokes feelings related to motivation, pleasure, nature connectedness, and stress recovery. It is here where individuals can potentially delve into feelings of connection, relaxation, or any emotions that are uniquely experienced through this progression. It is this emotional insight that drives the Water Calming® process. This is where Water Calming® becomes curative.
